Ocean Optics: Optical oxygen and pH sensor
| Ocean Optics, is proud to announce that, expanding the potential applications for its oxygen and pH sensing patches, Ocean Optics has obtained United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Class VI certification for these products. The companys HIOXY coating for RedEye Oxygen patches and Sol-gel coating for pH applications have successfully met the stringent testing criteria required for this certification. Ocean Optics optical O2 and pH sensors are designed for accurate, real-time, in situ measurements in packaging and other enclosed containers. The proprietary sensor coating materials do not consume the sample and can be applied to substrates such as probes, self-adhesive acrylic patches (the format tested for USP Class VI) and microtiter wells. Coating options are available for general lab use, high-sensitivity applications and hydrocarbon-rich environments. Depending on the application, oxygen presence or pH can be visually determined by colour change with a handheld LED, or a fluorometer can be used to make exact measurements. The USP is a non-governmental standards setting organisation. Class VI is its most stringent testing protocol for classification of plastics used in medicines and other health care technologies. With USP Class VI certification, the biocompatibility, toxicity and extractable of sensor coatings are assured to be compatible with biological and pharmaceutical processes and implantable devices. Testing and certification were provided by NAMSA (Northwood, Ohio). |

Ocean Optics Spectrometers for CW NIR Lasers
| BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Ocean Optics, is introducing a family of Scanning Spectrometers the SIR Scanning Spectrometer Series provides you a range of fiber-based spectral data collection. Those are currently dedicated to CW laser characterization but other applications will soon be available. The current wavelength ranges are: 0.9-2.6 μm (SIR-2600), 1-3.4 μm (SIR-3400), 2-5 μm (SIR-5000) and 3.0-6.5 μm (SIR-6500). These SIR Scanning Spectrometers feature USB 2.0-compliant interfaces that provide fast data transfers. Plus, the included software can be used to control all of your SIR spectrometer's functions as well as analyze data. |

Ekspla Picosecond Tunable Solid State Lasers
| BFi OPTiLAS, partner of Ekspla in France, Ireland, Italy, Nordics and UK, is proud to introduce a new generation of broadly tuneable solid state lasers. The PG-x03 series offers unique performance with 1 kHz picosecond output tuneable from 230 nm to 16 microns with line width < 6 cm-1. The PG-xO1 series offers high energy from 210 to 2300 nm or from 420 nm to 10 microns. The units are motorized hands-free and tuning is done via a key pad or USB port of a PC and LabViewTM driver. Those innovative devices are ideal for non linear spectroscopy, vibrational SFG, surface SHG, CARS, Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), Z-scan, pump-probe experiments . |

Ocean Optics: TORUS Mini-Spectrometers
| The Torus Miniature Spectrometer is a Visible range (360-825 nm) unit that delivers low stray light and is ideal for measuring color. Its increased sensitivity and throughput also make is perfect for low light level applications. The concave grating helps to improve thermal stability of the Torus. Wavelength drift is nearly eliminated and peak shape stays the same over a wide temperature range. As a result, Torus makes possible precision metrology, fluorescence and absorbance applications with demanding stray light and thermal stability requirements. Torus is the perfect solution for a wide range of applications where low stray light, high throughput and thermal stability are necessary:

Ocean Optics: Ultracompact Micro-spectrometers
BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Ocean Optics, is proud to announce the new STS ultra-compact spectrometer for high volume OEM applications. It is a very small CMOS-based unit that is 40 x 42 x 24 mm!! STS boasts optical resolution of ~1.5 nm (FWHM) and is particularly suited for high-intensity applications such as LED characterization and absorbance/transmission measurements. STS meets or exceeds optical resolution, stability, sensitivity and other performance criteria associated with larger, more expensive spectrometers. Plus, its built-in shutter makes taking dark measurements more convenient. |

EKSPLA: Tunable KHz Integrated Laser
| BFi OPTiLAS, is very proud to introduce an integrated kHz tunable DPSS laser system developed by Ekspla. The device integrates a DPSS pump laser and an OPO into a single housing and provides narrow linewidth output from 210 nm to 12 microns, with pulse duration of about 3-5 ns at a repetition rate of 100 Hz to 2.5 kHz. The output wavelength can be set from a control pad with backlit display or from a personal computer through RS232 interface using supplied LabView drivers. Applications include Laser-induced fluorescence , Photolysis, Photobiology, Remote sensing, Metrology, Gas spectroscopy and other laser spectroscopy applications. BFi OPTILAS and Ekspla collaboration in France, Italy, UK and the Nordic countries. |
